We want you to feel comfortable creating rewards with Step3, so we take privacy very seriously. You can read our official privacy policy here, but we also want to explain the steps we take to ensure your data stays safe.

For reward claimers

With Step3, we want to ensure you have a positive claiming experience.

  • We'll NEVER ask you to sign a transaction that would compromise the security of your wallet.
  • Your rewards are always associated with the crypto wallet used to claim.
  • We do not collect your personal information UNLESS it is required to claim a reward. When a reward publisher requires your personal information, we make this clear during the claim process and ONLY share your data with the publisher.

For reward publishers

With Step3, you are always in control of your rewards.

  • Rewards are private by default and are only visible once published to your Community Page or embedded on your website.
  • Ending a reward will remove it from your Community Page or website. We do not post rewards to social networks. Sharing a reward with your community is entirely up to you.
  • We use your crypto wallet to sign into the platform. We only use your email for system notifications and important updates.

Securing the data

  • Only select authorized employees have access to our database.
  • We use strong, random passwords and two-factor authentication for the database and other sensitive information.
  • All communication between your browser and Step3 uses the secure https:// protocol (indicated by the little padlock next to the internet address) for additional security.
